Reliance Industries, led by Mukesh Ambani, has joined forces with Nvidia to pioneer an AI infrastructure surpassing the capabilities of India’s fastest supercomputers. Nvidia, which has been operating in India since 2004, maintains four engineering development centers across Gurugram, Hyderabad, Pune, and Bangalore, employing over 3,800 professionals.

Reliance NVIDIA aims to develop the most extensive AI language model, encompassing multiple languages, along with an array of AI-based applications tailored for the Indian market. Nvidia will provide advanced technology, including the GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip, renowned for its exceptional performance and high memory bandwidth, as well as DGX Cloud and AI supercomputing services. The collaborative effort intends to serve the vast user base of Jio, benefiting 45 crore users.
